Here are more pictures of the rear clip fit work. It took several days of trimming to get it close to fitting correctly. There is really no way for me to explain how we did this other than sliding the replacement rear body up to the car, marking the areas that needed cut off, pulling the replacement rear body back off and trimming. Then doing it over and over again.

With the inner quarter panels cut open it made it easy to brush on some Zero-Rust coating. We coated everything we could reach on both the replacement body and the remaining part of the original quarters and wheelhouses.

We used an A-frame to help with the work. We were able to lift the body and shift it around with the weight supported by the A-frame. It also made it easy to remove the rear clip when more trimming was necessary.
