Do you want to compete with your automotive restoration project that showcases the restoration of a hot rod, muscle car, classic, vintage or a variety of other car types? Or maybe you want to be included in the panel of judges who decides the best restoration project results?
Those who submit their automotive restoration project in the Dupli-Color RESTORATION CHALLENGE before June 15, 2009 will have a chance at winning Advance Auto Parts gift cards, $10,000 cash and a trip to Las Vegas! This unique challenge will give car restoration enthusiasts the opportunity to be recognized for the craftsmanship they’ve demonstrated on their restoration project. Those who have the skill to custom paint, repair, restore their car and make it to the top 32 restoration projects will receive Advance Auto Parts gift cards and be pitted against the other 31 finalists in a weekly bracket-style competition. Voters from across the US will cast their vote to determine the best auto restoration project and determine the winner of the grand prize, $10,000 cash and a trip for two to Las Vegas.
The Dupli-Color RESTORATION CHALLENGE is not only for those who’ve completed restoration projects. This auto challenge is for those who like to view them, too. Starting June 29, 2009, auto enthusiast can go to www.restorationchallenge.com and sign up to be a part of the judge panel to skinny down the 32 finalists. They can vote weekly for vehicles in numerous head-to-head match-ups. Vehicles can be submitted into the Dupli-Color RESTORATION CHALLENGE beginning March 16, 2009 through June 15, 2009 at www.restorationchallenge.com. Voting in the Dupli-Color RESTORATION CHALLENGE begins July 1, 2009 with 5 week-long rounds of voting. The 2009 Dupli-Color RESTORATION CHALLENGE Champion will be announced on August 7, 2009.
