As soon as the black base color dried it was time to remove the stencil. The outer part of the stencil came off very easily. The very small parts of the stencil such as inside the letter “a” were very carefully removed with a toothpick taking care not to damage the lettering.

Here the stencil is carefully pulled off. This has to be done carefully without lifting the paint off of the caliper.

This is after the stencil was removed but before the clearcoat was applied.

The calipers are shown here after the clear was sprayed. We applied 3 coats of urethane clear.

After the paint on the calipers dries thoroughly we will unmask them, re-install the brake pads and then install the asssemblies back onto the car.
